We are still going through her stuff. I've found a two items I think are related to one another. One is a San Antonio souvenir folder of color pictures from Marvin L. Beasley, Camp Travis Texas to Miss Frankie Cadwalader, Payson Oklahoma. The postmark is September 21, 1917. The other is an unused postcard showing the World War I Texas-Oklahoma unit emblem of letters TO with a cowboy and Indian and the words St. Mihiel-Meuse-Argonne. I've tracked those two battles to Texas-Oklahoma 90th Division in Camp Travis Oklahoma, so I think both of these items belong to that soldier. As far as I know, we don't have any Beasley's or Cadwaladers in our family. But I did find a Marvin Beasley SSN 443-03-8410 b.16 OCT 1889, Arkansas d.AUG 1970 Fresno, California. I have close family ties to both OK and AK and currently live in Fresno. I'm not quite sure how she got these. They could have been passed down from someone or she might have got them through! her love of old things. If anyone has any information on this soldier, or think they may be related to him please let me know. Thanks, Jan Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
