Wife Mary b 1800? They had 6 children Benjamin b 1828, Henry b 1830, Jesse b 183?, Joseph b 1835, John b 1837, Richard b 1838. Joseph my GG Grandfather Married Hannah Inwood (First wife) and had two Children Richard William b 1857, and Mary ann b1859. Hannah died and then he married Emma from Steeple Claydon. they had four children, Amy b1876 d 1880, William Joseph b 1877, Henry Ellis b1880 and Rose Emma b 1881. Joseph died 13/5/1882 and Emma died 14/5/1882. Mary Ann registered their deaths. I have the death certificate for Joseph. Richard William my ggrandfather married Amelia at Gate Helmsley near York. They had 8 children of which Jane my Grandmother was one. The spelling Bazely, Basely appeared before the 1841 census after which it has remained Beasley. Does this tie in with information you have? Have you considered a DNA test? There are a few of us with the Family Tree DNA listing.
