He was married to a Sallie Rebeca Townsend. They are buried in the Hawthorne Cemetary in Hawthorne, Florida. My grandmother, Mamie Florida Beasley Smith is also buried there. She was their first born, in April of 1902. She had 4 sisters and one brother. The last 2 born were twins. My grandmother was a teacher for a time and married Grady Arthur Smith in her twenties. Her sister's were Edith, Pearle, Alice, and Ella Mae and her brother was Alton. Alice and Alton were the twins. I know Alton had a son that was a lawyer on the east coast of Florida for a time.
