On the Beasley Rootsweb list I see questions about Anderson Beasley and the statement that his father was Sterling Beasley. I don't know anything about Anderson, but I do know a little about a Sterling Beasley. I descend from Jesse Beasley of Wake County, NC who had a brother named Sterling. I have a copy of a petition dated 1821 from Sterling Beasley of Smith County, Tennessee to the Clerk of Court of Wake County, NC complaining about he and his siblings not receiving their inheritance from the estate of their father Henry Beasley.
