Kathryn and I have "talked" many times. My guess is that they are related in some way - a lot of coincidences. Several of John's children were married in Sumner County, TN. Everyone I have talked to seems to be stuck on John, or there is controversy over John, one or the other. That is where I am stuck. I am assuming this Silas was Silas Mercer Beasley Sr. The ages of his children seem to fit and one researcher has indicated that at least one of his children was born in western NC. > I am wondering if your Isaac and Silas brothers could be nephews to Silas Mercer Beasley Sr.? I do know from marriage records that at least one of Silas Mercer's children was married in Sumner Co. TN which bordered Simpson Co.
