Are there any connection to: Charles Wesley Beasley who came to Conecuh Co. AL in the early 1820's. Charles was born on April 15, 1818 in South Carolina and married Thirza Northcutt (3/28/1818 - 9/13/1887) on June 8, 1837 in Conecuh County. They had ten children as follows, John Wright, Wesley Marion, Henry James, Sara Thomas, Susannah, Stephen Madison, Reden Jasper, Margaret Elizabeth, Asbury Colonel, and Julius Erastus. Charles Wesley died on April 22, 1888 and both Charles and Thirza are buried in the Brown/Beasley Cemetery located on Conecuh County Road 22. One of the Sons: Was Asbury Colonel Beasley, was born on October 26, 1858 in Conecuh County and married Lydia Hancock (2/25/1862 - 9/19/1945) on December 26, 1883 in Conecuh Co. Asbury was a farmer and Post Master of a small post office known as Lee Post Office at the original Hamden Ridge Community near Castleberry, AL. Asbury and Lydia had six children as follows: Bessie Berthania, Charles Samuel, William Henry, Alonza Elias, Christoper Columbus, and Colonel Asberry. Asbury died on May 30, 1898 and is buried in Hancock Cemetery off Conecuh County Road 18. Lydia is buried in the Hamden Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery located on Conecuh County Road 18.
