I am looking to link these folks to *my* Wm BEESLEY, enumerated on the 1835 Morgan County, Illinois census... I am just guessing, due to the close proximity in enumerations, that he is a brother of my ancestor, Betsey BEASLEY EDWARDS, b. 1815 in TN. Her husband is David EDWARDS, their household also enumerated on the same census page for Morgan County Illinois in 1835. Their mother, Hannah BEESLEY is also there, and appears to be between 50 and 60 years of age, so b. bet. 1775-1785. She is possibly from TN, and if so, may be the woman enumerated in Montgomery, TN in 1820 census. I'm not sure if her name was actually "Susannah," or "Nancy," or "Hannah." I've looked at marriage bonds for all 3 names, all 3 different husbands names... No conclusive evidence, just name patterns descending with all 6 first names in *my* EDWARDS/BEASLEY line.
