Since then, I have had the pleasure to correspond with John Beatty, a genealogical librarian from Fort Wayne, IN, a Beezley descendant who had studied the matter came to the conclusion that the relationship is untrue. He has shared his manuscript and I have made it available on my genealogy website. Please see the link on http://beezley.net/genealogy/. In that paper, John explains why the Beasley/Coghill parentage is mistaken and suggests alternative lineage. His work has done a lot to extend my own Beezley genealogy.
