My bro-in-law researched the family about 20 years ago - He has daughter Jane born to Isaac & Susanna in 1816 and source he gives is IGI. I, however, can not find the connection. Linda, my Margaret Elizabeth Beasley was John's fraternal twin. I had located him on a census. When my dad was a boy they would go to Oregon. Dad would tell us some stories about these visits. This would be about the 1920-30. It was near a River as one story was about how they floated a cow down the River on a raft to be mated to a bull. Are surnames Cottmire, Altman, Weetman, Mc Dowell, Robinson, or Lauder familiar to you?
