Daughters listed are Rachel Sherry, Sarah and Elizabeth.(No mention of a daughter Jane and this is the first I was aware of a Jane. If Isaac and Susanna did have a Jane b. 1816 then it seems she would have been deceased by 1827) Isaac's wife at his death is Elinor(Plummer Pixley a widow he married in 1824, Rush Co.,IN I do not see a child Jane listed for Elinor in her earlier marriage.) Contents of Isaac's will can be viewed at the Montgomery Co., IN Courthouse, Crawfordsville,IN. Isaac must have been born earlier than 1795 when you look at the ages of his children. I estimate his birth to be around 1777 period in prob.VA,(WV)or KY. Would love to hear from you. Jo Anne Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I have been interested in this line. My ancestor John Beezley (various spellings at the time) was born in Virginia, served as a revolutionary soldier, married Sarah (Prickett, perhaps) and had seven children. He is listed as having a youngest son named Isaac who would have been born in the mid 1780's. After John's first wife died he married Rachel Prickett (married name) and around 1790 followed the Ohio river to what is now Cincinnati to claim land offered to Virginia soldiers. His family multiplied and spread north and east from there. What really interests me about this Isaac is that the timing, the proximity and the naming patterns used for their descendents are very similar. I've not been able to find any documentation that would prove the connection, but perhaps someone from your line could help. I would be most pleased to hear more from anyone from this line. Please check out my website http://beezley.net/genealogy. On the front page of that site I have a link to an excellent document by John Beatty, genealogical librarian at Fort Wayne, Indiana. He has not been able to find anything on our Isaac, but agrees that the possibility is there. The one thing that would be very exciting would be to find a male Beasley/Beezley descendant of this line who would be willing to submit a genealogical DNA sample to compare with mine. That could prove or disprove a connection of our lines. Please contact me for further discussion.
