    3. Sharia, since your alpha beasley wasn't married until 1823, have you been able to find any of her children on the 1880 census ? Sometimes I know through my researches I have been able to find brick walls by searching another route such as through the children instead of parents.

    3. It is possible we may be related if we go back far enough. I suspect my Jeptha, b. 1806, was born in or near Fayette Co., KY, but as yet have no proof. I received an email with the following information: In June of 1831, David and Margaret Burns, Cornelius Webster and his wife, Fanny, William Webster and his wife, Virginia, and Jeptha Beasley and his wife, Phebe, sold to George Shivery for $152, eleven acres on the Waters of Hickman Creek, situated in Fayette Co., KY, and yet, he wasn't on the 1830 or 1840 Ky Census Indices. The Webster Book has Jeptha born in KY in 1806. The 1810 Kentucky Census shows 2 Beasleys in Fayette Co; John Beasley, Fayette Co., Kentucky, 1810 Males: 1-1-1-1-0 Females: 1-0-0-1-0 William Beasley, Fayette Co., KY 1810 Males: 3-0-1-0-1 Females: 2-2-0-1-0 Either one of the above could be the parents of Jeptha, I wish they had listed each individual by name. Thank for replying. I have found that my Beasley line is very strong in Kentucky but as far back as I am is to John Beasley born 1826 in Kenton Co. Kentucky. I would like to correspond with you more if you think we might have family in common. If not, good luck with your search. 2. Good morning Pat and Linda. My Beasley line is from William, who purchased property from a James Canon in Pendleton Dist, SC in 1790. He was a revolutionary soldier and his son, JOhn, was my ggggrandfather. They moved into Georgia where JOhn died ab 1830 in DeKalb Cty and William died some time later unknown. If your Kent Beasleys are connected to this William, please reply. Thanks, David

He was b. 1806, prob. KY., m. June 22, 1829, Phebe Webster, in Fayette Co., KY and they later moved into Crawford Co., IN. There is another Jeptha, b. 1809, who lived in Ohio, and they are getting mixed together. I also wonder if they are related a few generations back since the name is unusual (at least to me). Appreciate any help. Sincerely, Wilma

    2. Tim, thanks. It is a possibility that your Alpha could be related though some other connection as Alpha is a family name. My grandmother was also named Alpha and there was another Alpha born 4 years later. They were cousins. I'd just like to get a clue on my Beasley line. Alpha Omega, you'd think, would be a stand out name but I have been trying to get a lead on her and cannot even get a little nibble. Thanks again. Sharia

    2. Hi Sharia: I apologized for taking so long to answer your email. No, I do not have any Stacy's in my family tree nor do I have your Alpha Omega Beasley. The closest I come is an Alpha Bates Beasley who was born in 1905 in Tennessee and died in 1926. Sorry I couldn't be of some help. 2. Hi Wilma: I apologized for taking so long to answer your email. No, my grandmother, Hallie Ree Beasley did not have a brother by the name of Jeptha. She had one sister and two brothers. Their names were Elvis (1892 to 1896), Elton (her sister) (1895 to 1974) and Gus (1898 to 1921). I wish I could have been more helpful.
