    3. I found them at http://www.familysearch.com. Look under "Search for Ancestors" and you'll come to a query screen. Put John Beasley in with his year of birth and state born and he shows up. A guy by the name of Steven Wolfe in Alaska submitted it. If you look under submitter and click "Details" it has his address when he submitted it to be recorded. Keep in mind that he could have moved but it's worth a try. I hope to keep in touch with you on the Beasley's you sound very informed on this line. I have several photos with this line of Beasley's I don't know if you have any or care to have... I have many many kin in Hickman Co. have a great day. Greg

UNTIL we find further proof (which may be in England) I choose to doubt it. It never came down through the lines in my family, and my GM was a Beasley and grew up in Hickman Co. Tennessee in the midst of a crowd of Beasleys. There may be a thread of truth in the story...we just need to find which thread!

William Thomas Beasley is my great grandfather, he was gospel preacher and from what my mother tells me, he was very devout..I do not believe he would fabricate the story..I feel he is refering to the dates in the bible when he stated "he got the information from the bible" and not the Pitts story. I believe he was told this story by his Uncle and aside from word of mouth, that I can find, he had no other source info. I'm not ready to discard the whole idea but this is definatly an example of why word of mouth isn't always that great of a source.

He had three sisters, my Aunt Clara, Aunt Mary Que, and Aunt Edna. Aunt Clara married Jessie Brown, Aunt "Mac" as we called her, married Joe McAdams, Aunt Edna married John Britt. Are we on the same page? I feel like we are. My family moved from Hope, Arkansas to Camden, Arkansas in 1947. We are a family of four children, Doris Marie Urrey, Martha Nell Urrey, Thomas Carroll Urrey, and my self, Clara Louise Urrey (now Freeland). I look forward to hearing from you again. 2. Yes I have all their children and that's what I've thought about doing and just haven't since I have so many others that I'm working on and thought (after I had sent the email) I need to search some of these other names so I'm going to try that now. I thought I'd have better luck than I've had with a name like that. Thanks for your reply and reminder. Sharia
