She was born 22 JAN 1832 in Arkansas and of Union Township, Lawrence, Arkansas in 1850 the daughter of Lemuel BEASLEY. Jesse Lafayette HALES died 23 MAR 1890 and was buried at Indian Springs, McDonald County, Missouri. His wife died 20 AUG 1905 in Neosho, Missouri and was buried in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Oklahoma. Grady was the oldest boy of John and Maggie Beasley. For those interested I have pictures of some of the children. I have one of John Joshua taken in 1872 when he was about 15 years old with him wearing his 1st derby hat. All the Beasley boys favor him. I can't seem to get on the message board, but I would like to mention that my great grandfather was Charles C. Beasley. He lived in Macon county Alabama and was the son of Alston H. Beasley. In 1850 he was listed in the DeKalb county, GA, census. I can't get my Beasley line back from there, but I have a lot of information on Charles Beasley's wife's family. Hope there is a connection.
