No, I couldn't find any other information. The Busley family listed in the 1880 census is definately my ancestors. (John was my grandfather, Rosella my great aunt). I have searched for years and found absolutely nothing else. I could not find a death date for him, either. Although it says on Theresa's death certificate that she is a widow. I couldn't find where he is buried, either. She is buried in Ste. Genevieve county, I believe the name of the cemetary is Roth. He seems to have left no trace of himself. Beverly ************************************************************ Beverly I am not researching this specific line but I am a long time Beasley researcher. Do you have any other info at all--there was a Louis Emmet Beasley who are born in 1855 in Franklin Co MO but he married Hattie Eliza James. There is another Beasley family in Ste. Genievieve County--and I found Louis Beasley/Buseley in the 1880 Census that you mentioned: 1880 Census for Beauvais, St. Genevieve, Missouri, Page 603C: Name Relation Marital Status Gender Race Age Birthplace Occupation Father's Birthplace Mother's Birthplace Louis BUSLEY Self M Male W 24 MO Farming NC MO Thereasa E. My great grandfather was Louis Beasley, born 1856. The 1880 Ste. Genevieve county census has him listed as Louis Busley, born in Missouri. Louis married Theresa Mead. On the death certificate of their daughter, Rosella Thomure (which is available on the Missouri state website) it lists her father as Louis A. Beasley from Baden, Germany. The census lists his father as being born in NC. I believe his father was named John, but I am not for sure. Any others out there searching this same line? Thanks! I have been searching for several years for the parents of Anderson Beasley. Census record shows him born in Tenn, 1810/11. Married in Edwards Co. Ill, 1835 to Eveline Nicks. They came to Johnson Co. Arkansas with her family, father Anderson Nicks. Her family went to Texas but the Beasley family remained in Ar. Anderson, (also M.A. or A.M.) died in 1853. demona@centurytel.net
