In the 1850 census for Tate Township, Clermont County, Ohio, I found the following listing. Silas BEASELEY, 81, b. Virginia Alice CHALMERS, 81, b. Virginia Rebecca CONN, 64, b. Pennsylvania Alice's husband, Andrew Chalmers, was older by about ten years, suggesting that she was a widow and lived with her brother. I do not know who Rebecca CONN is. It is believed that he had a first wife that he married in Kentucky. They had the following children: John C. b.1816, Jesse b.1818, Champion S. b.1820 and Lucinda b. 1821. After the apparent death of his first wife he married Jane P.B.(maiden name unknown) about 1823 and they had the following children:Joseph b. 1824, Elizabeth b. 1826, James b. 1828, Silas b. 1830, William Oliver b1833, Sarah Ann b. 1835, Isaac H. b. 1840(my husbands ggrandfather) and Rachel J.b. 1842. The first 4 children were said to have been born in Warren Co. Ky. and the ones with Jane were all born in Simpson Co. Ky. Kathy Evans

    3. My great grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Beasley. (Parents unknown). She may have been born in Ohio. She married Samuel Franklin Boley---In Carroll Co, Mo. 14 OCT 1855, Book B, page 103, to Mary Elizabeth Beasley by Benjamin Ashby, Methodist Episcopal. Mary died abt. 1870 in Chariton Co., Mo. However another bit of interesting information taken from Big Creek Baptist Church, Carrol Co. Mo.: Elizabeth and Samuel F. Boley as members as of March 10, 1851 March 10 1851 BOLEY, Elizabeth, R-L, D-L, March 10 1851 BOLEY, Samuel F. R-B, D-L dismissed Oct.1854 The couple had three children: Elizabeth Ann born 1857/8, Samuel Franklin born abt 1862, and Fielding Franklin (my grandfather) born 5 Dec 1867 (all born in Livingston co. Mo. This information was Testified to by Samuel Boley's brothers listed as: W.A. Boley age 52 in 1888 and James V. Boley aged 54 in 1888. On 4 May 1868 John Newton Vance purchased 5 acres from Samuel F. Boley "and wife" in Section 2, T54N R23W and On 6 March 1869 John Newton Vance purchased 40 acres from Elizabeth B. Boley in Section 5 T54N R22E. Any information on Mary Elizabeth Beasley would be appreciated. I have a Lilla Olena Beasley married to Thomas Elijah Urrery. Her parent were John R. Beasley and Sarah A Hairston. They married in 1893 and had four children Mary Irving Clara Edna. Lilla Olena Beasley was born 6 March 1879 and passed way on 8 Sept 1960. She is buried at the Rose Hill Cementery at Hope Arkcansas. She had two brothers one named Jim.
