I have submitted the BEARDEN's I am researching before. But I just found some notes given from relatives, who are now deceased,at least 11 years ago that were stored away. They have conflicting info on our BEARDEN's then I gave originally. So I am going to post them now and see what any of you out there think. I was told these BEARDEN's ancestors founded two towns, one in AR and one in TN. don't know which ones tho. Jake BEARDEN , born ?, where? (possibly MO, or TN?) was a farmer and a Loyalist and he and the males in his family were made to dig their own graves then Guantrill's Raiders shot them into it while they made the females of the family watch. He was married to Sara who was a Cherokee Indian. They had many children, William, James, Toby, Ray, George, Martha Jane born in Tenn.?, Lulu?, and David Ray BEARDEN. David Ray married Lucinda Eaton and they had 10-12 children, Denver, Ozrow, Price, Arthur, Alvis, George, Blanche, Lucille, Eva, Freeman and 2 others. Martha Jane married Joseph PEVRIL in Reynolds Co., MO on Dec 25, 1887. She and Joseph had 5 children, Oscar, Harry, Roy, Clint and Leona and they lived in Piedmont, MO. I am hoping someone out there knows of these BEARDEN's as I am really stuck and don't even know if some of the info above is correct. Help... Sharon Moore hairfornow@aol.com
