But actually I was wondering myself because I was told that my Ggrandfathrer Joseph Barss started the reorganized church in White Rock, Michigan. Another family member had 3 of those churchs built in Lanzing. My Grandmother was a Latter Day Saint. So that is why it amazed me so about the passage about Rev. John Lathrop. I see Sharon got my point........there are a ton of them! And I know some cousins now are Mormon! I know like everybody else learned in grade school that a lot of people left England because they wanted freedom of religion. And I know when and how the Church was born. It was just all starting to make sense to me why so many Mormons in our family lines and that he-Augustine belonged to the church that down the road the Reverend John Lathrop's descendants was born Joseph Smith! Just hit me like it was a sort of plan of Gods--blueprint lets say. Setting up the beginnings of what was to come. And it's the Mormons that research and save all the information from way back then!
