Hi Everyone, I sure did miss all of you. A few days ago Teri sent a message to the old list and I sent a reply, but I don't think it ever got posted. Did Larry start moderating the old list? It was kind of sad to come home after being away for two days and about the only Bearse mail was the message from Teri. Goofy, I don't think I've ever had ghosts. Hi ListMom Wendy! Looks like you keep having babys! The list is not yet 24 hours old and there are slews of cousins joining up! Sharon so glad you made it! Yea! And Linda, Joey, Joe, Dave, Pat, Joan etc......!! Spread the word to all the cousins! It certainly has been an interesting 24 hours! Elaine and I arrived at her house this morning at 6AM, safe, but as usual, not sound! Interesting feat driving around in circles in the wilderness at 3AM for hours with no gas. Of course the gas station was right under Elaine's nose the whole time, but being a stubborn Taurus, She refused to acknowledge that! I being the Aries (and right all the time) knew just where it was. The car ended driving on fumes (A.K.A. Elaine's hot air) and we were coasting downhill most of the time. But make it we did! So we are off shortly to go cemetery hunting (grave digging) and are so glad to be in touch with all our cousins again. We want more on the list! Later......... Enjoy All!! I was just trying to help Larry.. in my own way and he snapped before I could find a solution to his frustration. I have never been a list mom.. I may get just as much static as maybe he did.. but I would probably respond in a more democratic approach and take POLL!!! I was trying to say.. "consider the good with the bad.. the naughty banterers are providing MOST ( if not ALL ) of the information..." We all have things going on in our lives that can be stressful. my son had a seizure last week and it is hard maintaining tough love at those times, turning 50..., waiting to hear on a job position change..., it was a week with a very full plate ... the playfulness of the cousins helped with the heavy load of the days and I never shared my tough part. It was a nice switch to laugh and relax with all of you... The cyber family is an oddly comfortable one....you get so close to people that you have never met and wham... it is easy to type to a stranger things you would never say in person... it is an unusal medium.... yet, we do become close and we do all have this common thread.. Bearse, BeArce, Bearce, Burce, Barrs, Barss, Bierce, Barse, Burss, Bears, Barse, Bearss etc etc I think along with that and so many baby boomerish aged cousins ( and Goofy with an OLD soul) that we have even more in common and we have come closer together. Whatever the reasons, this roots list is designed with combining learning with laughter.... and we are the proof that it can be done!! smiles to all, Wendy
