So she is obviously being punished for being the "Evil Cousin". She was made to go to work today, so I could have some quality time on her computer with all my beloved cousins. After finding these evil letters of hers, however, I will have to put the padlock back on the keyboad, before she gets home tonight, and am not taking it off until I get lots and lots of ice creme!!! 3. Daisy, A bunch of us got fed up with the Gestapo tactics and formed the new list so that our family members could enjoy their rights of freedom of speech! There was no accident. The only thing was that Larry infiltrated (like a Gestapo) within 5 minutes of the list being activated, and then snidely sent that letter to the Bearse list, saving us the headache of having to chase after all our cousins to join this list. He is welcome to run his list, his way, and this list will be run, the family's way. As soon as he sent that letter to the Bearse list, the new subscribers to this list started showing up within a few minutes of his letter going out, and they have been pouring in ever since. Welcome all. Jimmy --- BIRDDPUTT@aol.com wrote: > I wondered what happened to the Bearse site. Of course > everyone knows a Bull > beats a Ram every time. We all know the real difference between an Aries (ta ta da) and a Taurus. Aries, bieng the best sign, is a Fire sign. Now, you take Fire, apply it to the "Bull" of Taurus, and you get char-broiled hamburgers! I'm sure Gypsy can verify this information for the family, if she ever gets caught up on her e-mails. 3. Hey Goof! What's this about John Howland? You carry the Bearse name so you can't be one of those of us who decend from James Bearse and Experience Howland. Heard that there was another Bearse/Howland union. Is that you? Please tell. are you one of Mary Stewart Kyritis line? Does this make you a double cousin? (Oh God...Double Insanity)!!! 2. Dear DAD: (I just love saying that!) I come from John Howland through the Crosby side of my family (My Mom's Side). John Howland & Elizabeth Tilley John Howland & Mary Lee (parents of Experience) Isaac Howland (Experience's Brother) & Anne Taylor Isaac Howland & Elizabeth Jennings Sarah Howland & Edmund Hinckley Abner Hinckley & Hannah Lovell Rolinza Hinckley & William Crosby Does that help..... With all my research I have realized that I am related to myself many times!!! No wonder I am so screwed up! Goofy!

    3. In looking for the ancestors who went to Ontario I found some possibilities in 1790 in Lancaster, PA: David Bear with the appropriate number of offspring. That is where all the Mennonites he hooked up with are from. Does this make us the dancing Bears? Sharon ElaineDecker@cs.com wrote:Sharon, > How did you know? 2. Sharon Satterfield
    3. Robert, Harriet is in the Fanny Meadows Genealogy. Is that where I helped you before? I was wrong a few minutes ago. Harriet is the oldest child of Edmond Bearss. Edmund is son of Josiah and Margaret Kinzie. Josiah is son of David Bearss and Rhoda Richmond (my ancestor). Edmond died at Manistee, MI. Harriet died at Norridgeville, Ontario. Her siblings who were younger apparently moved to Michigan with their parents. They are Mary Ellen, Emma, Lena. (Now we can tell Ollie and Lena jokes) So the line goes: Harriet- Edmund- Josiah- David- Josiah- Josiah- Joseph- Austin I don't have much other information except that Mary Ellen, Emma, and Lena were residing in Manistee, MI in 1924. Emma married Haggie Cook, son of Nancy who was daughter of Josiah and cousin to Emma. 3. Robert, I am assuming that Henrietta is the daughter of Edmund, son of Josiah III in CT. There is an excellent Upper Canada List. I cant remember where Oxford county is, but there is a Niagara list that has been helpful to me as well- people really willing to do lookups. This would make you eligible to be a Pokanoket. 2. Sharon Satterfield
    3. An update from the tribal meeting Friday night. It apprears that light-skinned people are in the minority, but we were accepted by friendly folks. I think there are only two families and we are Massasoit's (Ousa Mequin). The other is from his brother-in-law. But I'm still very new at this. For all descendants of Josiah: The deadline to have all our stuff in to the BIA is Oct 1, so Linda Degnan needs our stuff now to be members. The Mashpee tribe wants to get out of the Wampanoag Federation apparently and go on their own. They won't accept anyone into their ranks who wasn't living in Mashpee and active in the tribe. Wendy's family was certianly close all these years. Sharon
