You see, gosh were do I begin? OK, I frequent a genealogy chat site and there are two that I have known for a long time chatters and they are into Indian genealogy. Well, one night last week (feeling brave) I tell them the story of the flaming red haired Princess and her Gypsy lover then husband. Well, needless to say they laughed at me and doubted me and I was ready to scalp~! Well, last night the evil mind worked overtime and Jimmy and I cooked up a plan! Yes, siree! And we pulled it off! LOL. Here is what we did. I gave Jimmy the addy to the chat room and told him to make up a handle. So here I am waiting for him to arrive. Suddenly I see Ishkabiddle 2. LOLOLOLOL The rest is history. All it took was one chatter to ask Jimmy for his surnames! And then we went in for the kill. ROFLMAO. He deserves an academy award! That is for sure.....One gal says she is suddenly hungry for shiskabobs! LOL. So I as innocently if I can call him biddle. And Jimmy says you can call me dribble! I lost it.....it was hilarious! And then when I said he had a couple of surnames like mine and acting shocked all along....he says......"NO WAY!" LOL. And I said "Gee I prayed for the ancestors to intervene and help me!" And Jimmy says! "praise Jesus!" Well, at any rate I had a grin on my face all day today thinking of how we pulled it off last night. As one of the doubters e-mailed me today saying......."Gypsy, I am eating crow right now, why didn't you tell me your family line was on the net?" THEY RESEARCHED OUR FAMILY!! Gee, didn't know it was any of their business!" LOL. I don't go around asking them to prove their sitting bull! Like they wish they had one! LOL. So what is the moral of this story? A. Don't go bragging to your gen friends about our famous family? B. When in need get Jimmy he will pull through? Grin. ~Gypsy~

Cousins, I went to Big lots today and ran across a beautiful figurine of a Gypsy angel and best of all it was only $7.99. So if you have a big lots near you check it out. I also ran across a wonderful book written by a Romany from England. Romany Gypsy shamanism has been practiced in Britain an Europe for hundreds of years but the lives of the Gypsies remain a mystery. They have always been treated with a mixture of fear and fascination, either heavily persecuted (which has stopped them from speaking openly about the sacred elements of their culture) or over-romanticized, with images of wild nomads, decorative wagons and psychic fortune tellers. This unusual book reveals the inner Romany shamanic path through the experiences and knowledge of one of the few remaining 'chovihanos' (Gypsy shamans) still practicing in Britain. As the author explains, 'As a Chovihano, I am able to guarantee that the whisperiing forests of western Europe are still whispering. If you put your ear to the ground in the woodland, then close your eyes and grow very still, you may just be able to hear their ancient songs being sung deep beneath the Earth.' ~Gypsy `
