Looks like it worked for you this time Dave. so post those old things again!! WW
This is a test of the email system to see if my emails really do make it to the list. I have replied to a few of the posts, but I never see them come up on the list. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Any suggestions?? Of course if I see this post come back to me, I guess things are right. (well maybe). Dave from Lapeer

The truth of the matter is that after getting to meet Elaine I have to tell you. Jimmy has been telling the truth!! ELAINE has two sides and one is very EVIL!!! WW

Hi, I finally found my notes for the web site for the names of individuals who received aid in moving. It is a searchable database for surnames. Besides being the emigrants service fund there are other items like customs etc. the site is www.ingeneas.com/free/main.html It is an ingeneas database from the National Archives dealing with miscellaneous immigrations indices. Sorry cousins, I thought I should add the letter that came with that fabulous site so you would know what it is all about. ~Gypsy`
<A HREF="http://www.ingeneas.com/free/main.html">Click here: ingeneas Home Page</A> http://www.ingeneas.com/free/main.html This might be handy. PS Those roustabouts in Vermont had me and my hubby laughing. It's nice to hear that BeArce cousins can get along so well. Even though Elaine is always getting punished for something. This beats any sitcom on TV! Gypsy
Good part And Ezra Bigelow spoke of something that struck me as mysterious. North of Cornhill, in a mound near two abandoned dwellings, they found a bow, arrows, cups, bowls, and a strange sort of crown, and two bundles. They ope'd the larger of those and found bones and skull, how long buried could not be told. Some unconsumed flesh remained, and hanks of hair, which was yellow. In the smaller bundle were the bones of a boy, buried also with a bow and beads around his wrists and ankles. Indian King and son? But Indians have black hair............. ~Gypsy~
For Elaine and all cousins, The chart showed that the Lord had brought them (Mayflower) to a peninsula resembling, in all its parts, a man's arm raised to strike a blow at the sea. The chart called the place Cape James, a name John Smith had given to curry the favor of King James. But sailors used the name that Bartholomew Gosnold had given it after fishing here in 1602: Cape Cod. I wonder if this is true fact? ~Gypsy`
gypsy this morning while Sharon was at church and Jimmy and elaine were asleep, i went through some of my genealogy tuff and as i was rereading a letter written during the Cival War I came across something. it was a letter notifying John and Almira Bearse that there son George's body was being shipped home from NC by boat and that your Russell Martin should be notified to claim the Body in Boston to bring him home.!! They searched for him everywhere in every borough. They announced his disappearance on the radio and television as well as in the newspapers, but no one reported seeing the ape. At last, the ape was discovered in the New York Public Library. Officials of the zoo and the animal handlers were summoned to the library. They found the ape sitting at a desk in the reading room with two books spread out in front of him. The ape was reading with great concentration. One book was the Bible; the other was a book written by Darwin. The zookeepers asked the ape what he was doing. The ape replied, "I'm trying to figure out whether I am my brother's keeper or my keeper's brother." --0-1864372262-968563211=:29625--
Here we are, it is Saturday night and Jimmy O, Wendy and I (Elaine) are at Sharon's house. We all have Depends on because we are laughing so hard that we have to wear them. Sharon just broke all the Child Labor Laws by making Jimmy and Wendy make soap for her business. There is nothing left of the kitchen. Pictures are coming. A moth flew in Jimmy's ear and he said that we put it in his ear just like the Japanese did in the Big One (WWII) to torture him. He said that the moth was trying to eat his brain and I said that the moth would starve to death. Sharon took us out hunting for a Bearse cousin that she found in the phone book. We went up into the country and she got us all lost and we didn't even have M&M's with us and we thought we were going to starve to death and then we almost ran out of gas. We stopped to ask directions and (Jimmy is going to take this story over) Jimmy here..... and we threw Wendy out at this guy that we saw to ask directions and she sure did get directions!!!! Elaine was salivating all over the car and we decided to go back for him tomorrow, with Wendy in a strapless dress! Elaine is punished! We finally found Elliot c. Bearse's house (of the Prince Edward Island line) and we threw Wendy out of the car to go and jump that cousin too, while the rest of us cowered in the car. Well Elliot was sure glad to see her!!! Then the wife came out right away!!!! They were both really lovely and recceptive to the surprise visit of the "Luntic Fanatical Four" Elaine was sooooo rude and wouldn't get out of the car and they had to go to her, to greet her!!! She is punished! By the way, Wendy said I should add that I have a "Black Belt" in the fine art of psychological torture . Wendy here... Well, we had a wonderful adventure and Elaine has her eye on Ray as husband #3!! I was good. well as always..,,,,,,,,, I got Ray's name and address and he was smiling (Ray is the hunk!!) will have to do a few searches on him later. heee hee.. he did have a twinkle about him.. hmm oh guess you wonder what else we did. well I tried napping waiting for Jimmy to get out of the Flea Market . if ya wanna call it that. it was really gross, had trailers etc full of crap. the 3 of them came out with crap and shit eating grins like a sneaky cat.. Finally jimmy left, but he wants to go back tomorrow. I hope it's after I leave.!!! We saw a sign of Indian in Jimmy. The sun was in his eyes. So when he was in a mens room we hid the car and he came looking for us, with his hand above his brow. looked like an Indian scout!! We made some soap tonight, jimmy and I were playing with the hand blender and Jimmy lifted it a little to high.while turned on and well, lets just say.the soap ingredient balance was not as accurate as sharon usually has, jimmy was nervous and asked me if there was something we could just add so sharon would not know. but we came clean.Elaine used my camera and took Jimmy's picture. he was okay with it and even posed because he thought it was Elaine's camera and he could intercept pictures. it was really funny when he found out it is my camera!! (Sharon) What a day! I awoke to see Elaine's car in the driveway. Of course, she and Jimmy didn't stir for hours. Here we are in the wilds of Vermont, and Jimmy wanted to go to a craft store. He and Elaine are making millions of dollars on Ebay from the junk they get at flea markets and sell for $600. Well, Vermont doesn't have tacky craft stores, so we found a woman who spins and dyes her own yarn. We went all over trying to find Dick, the handyman only to find he heard Wendy was coming an took off for Pennsylvania. He had run out of Viagra. Ray, the hunk has many possibilities and Elaine is absolutely salivating after spending all day telling me she didn't want another man. Cousin hunting was very interesting. We just went to a town and kept asking until we got directed to his house. And he didn't even meet us with a gun. You see, we really are serious genealogists. Goodnight cousins, you scions of New England and barefoot natives. The Fabulous Fanatical Four
Claudette Panico - Sep 9, 2000 Gypsy, this is very interesting. What information was there in the chapter that Jean enclosed? Was it translated? Would like to know more...Claudette Claudette, Welcome to the Bantering BeArce's letter list. We all want to know more! And when Jean gets back from vacation she is going to snail mail or send it via the puter the information. Which ever is easiest for her to do? Then I shall share with all the cousins on this list. So we must be patient. Elaine is working on getting some valuable information about Mary also from a New England Native Gen. friend. We are all striving to collect all information we can. So please be patient. Meanwhile enjoy the cousins. As we all are the descendants. Lov ya all Gypsy.......... PS Debbie for goodness sakes go and read IOOTASH'S letter! lol.
Jennifer Davis from Virginia has sent letters to over 50 Bearss' in Michigan looking for information on her husbands Grandfather, George Bearss. He was from the Ruby, Mi area which is over by Port Huron. I sent her an invite to the Bearss Family site on My Family.com and she has posted some info there. I also sent her the Bearce-l site so she could get on line with all of the cousins here. I have sent her the info that I have and I believe that it ties in with David and Rhoda. It goes George, James, Ephriam, Azel and David & Rhoda. If anyone else has more info.....
