Riobard, your stories are so important to us! Unfortunately, none of my mother's family history was shared with me. I remember the day I was rummaging through the Butte archives and I was told,"You definitely need Riobard!" You found my grandfather's family in the blink of an eye and you made Jack Shea real for me. I've shared your stories with my children and with my grandchildren .In our case, you are sharing the history with three generations. And where from there???? Your stories and the reading matter your have suggested have been an invaluable addition to my "Grandmothering". Every single grandchild can proudly recite the story of Peter Leary and Mrs. Dennehy releasing the animals confiscated by the English on the Dursey Island because the Irish couldn't pay the rent.
