On this Good Friday, I would like to say Happy Easter weekend to Bill, Riobard & Joan, Theresa, Jerry, and Molly... and everyone else on this great list. Thank you Riobard for another great story, and as far as the old photos, I wish I had even ONE to contribute! ;( Kathleen 3rd great-granddaughter of Michael LYNCH & Mary SHEA of Cappyaughna, Glengarriff > sent from my iPad >> Date: Fri, 29 Mar 2013 09:25:14 -0700 >> From: [email protected] >> To: [email protected] >> Subject: Re: [BEARA] Mystery Woman of Beara >> >> I would also like to post my mystery picture of a Murphy man in >> Butte who I suspect is one of our John or James Murphy. I'm certain some of us have family photos of our ancestors. I know it's a long shot, but maybe others in the group have seen pictures of these folks, but never known the identities. I was thinking we could all submit photos of our Beara ancestors, and see if anything clicks for someone else. >>> Anyone else interested? Molly Harrington >>> >>> Sent from my iPad
Kathleen, Don't give up hope, keep wishing for the pictures. I only had one picture of our Murphys, the portrait of my great grandmother, Nora Murphy Harrington, which always hung in my grandmother's bedroom next to her statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. It's taken some work, but we now have found descendants of three other lines and I'm overwhelmed with hundreds of photos of that generation and their descendants. An abundance that I'm most greatful for.
