    3. Hello - When my husband and I went to the Beara in 2006 we stayed at the "Inches House" with both self catering cottages and a B&B. We stayed in the self catering cottage for close to two weeks and it served as a great base to visit all the treasurers of the peninsula. My husband at the time had a medical condition that made it good to be able to get back to our place as often as we needed to during the day. It was close enough so that the night we went to "Causkey's" in the Eyeries village we were able to walk to the pub. Not really recommended as to the complete darkness and lack of a good place to walk at night. The couple who ran the "Inches House" offers you 3 luxury Self-catering Holiday Cottages Click below! We would perhaps spend about 5 days in Beara roaming the lands of my Murphy/Sullivan roots and spend the rest of the time touring the rest of Ireland. Does anyone have any ideas I might take advantage of especially with respect to a B&B in Beara, transportation (I should think we'd need 2 or maybe even 3 cars......by the way, is there a maximum driving age in Ireland?), and any other relevant advice ? The time frame would probably be June-August because of school constraints. I've traveled Ireland with my wife only and merely planned each succeeding day and place as each day ended, but I suspect that with a large group that might not be so easy. Any information would be helpful. Many thanks, Paul Murphy ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to BEARA-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
