    3. Thank you for your reply Kevin. Yes I am aware of using caution when looking at Census records. My couple had a child baptised in Co Kerry (at Killarney) and the father was a coastguard from Co Cork who served at various places on the south coast of Ireland and England. I am hoping to find a birthplace to narrow my search for gggrandmother's parents. After almost 30 years of family research it's the one line that I know little about. Trouble is that Sullivan is a very common name!
