Hi Riobard I also descend from this line and have a reference that Cornelius died in Cluin ( could this be Cloyne to the east of Cork ?) I also have a copy of the diary pages kept by the oldest son of each generation which states John was born 12th March 1800 Cork County Cornelius was married to Sheila Handley on 13 Jan 1866. I hope you can shed some light on this as it will help to confirm even earlier generations back to 1724. I have now been sent by one of Cornelius decendend a copy of the marriage entry, attached with it is a letter from Riobard dated 1999 The marriage of Cornelis Sullivan & Julia Hanley is confirmed as at Church of St Michaels Allihies on the 13th Feb 1866 Witness John Sullivan and Patrick Hanley. Julia name is also Shiela on other documents. However incontra to what was stated before Cornelius died as a result of breathing in dust over a period of time and on as a result of a mining accident. --- El sáb, 30/8/08, GERALD O'SULLIVAN <g.j.osullivan@btinternet.com> escribió: De: GERALD O'SULLIVAN <g.j.osullivan@btinternet.com> Asunto: Re: [BEARA] O'Sullivan and Allihies Co Cork Para: beara@rootsweb.com Fecha: sábado, 30 agosto, 2008 7:05 Hi Riobard I also descend from this line and have a reference that Cornelius died in Cluin ( could this be Cloyne to the east of Cork ?)
