Kevin, You can search by place name. Enter the townland name and the county, barony, union, and parish. Put in all the information that you know and leave the rest out. If it does not give you the option to put all those items in the search, it is not working properly. Give it an hour or a day and come back to it. Also, if it tells you it can't find it, come back later and try again. Yesterday, that happened to me. It could not find something that it had just found a half hour earlier! They are still working on the site, so be patient. If you can't find the townland, look for the name and go back later and look at the townland.
