Dear listers, I am sure this ground has been covered before but that was before I learned that the Boston Beara society has tentatively scheduled a trip to Butte next August providing the current credit crunch doesnt crunch it also. My maternal Aunt Mary Ellen O'Neill from Cahirmeelabo went to Butte to two maternal aunts who ran a rooming house there.From what I know two of her aunts went there but they were married and had families.I also believe they left there one family returned to Castletown and settled there, the other moved on to Washington State. Mary Ellen had two more aunts Julia and Elizabeth O'Neill who I suspect were the ones that she went to but I have no idea how to prove it.All I have is their birth dates They also had a brother Quin who went to Butte and married Mary O'Sullivan(Barule) from Bere Island. I don't know if they stayed on in Butte or moved on. Any ideas where I should begin would be greatly appreciated . Thank you.
