My great aunt Johanna Ware, a name I'm sure Riobard recognizes, and the many Thanksgiving dinners we had at her home along with her husband Charlie Ware and all my mother's cousins. The older generation, Johanna and her sisters (including my mother's mother Catherine Ryan nee Lowney) had all come over from Beara and made new lives for themselves in the Detroit area. Good times.
