Ahhhh, too bad, my Harringtons are "Caskey" from Augroom, Eyeries Parish. I would have loved teasing my husband about a "rellie" winning! --Susan On Tue, Jul 22, 2008 at 6:40 PM, Bill Gawne <gawne@cesmail.net> wrote: > Hello Corby, all, > > "Anderson, Corby" <CAnderson@mtech.edu> writes: > >> Which Harrington branch is Padraig from ? > > Riobard has told me that he's a Harrington Uohni, like my > great-great-grandmother Honora Harrington Uohni. > > > -- Bill >

I was rooting all the way for Padraig....my cousin Joe "Doyle" Sullivan is a retired policeman living in Dublin...he was born on Bere Island and left when he was about 13 yrs old.....I was lucky enough to travel with him through every nick and cranny on Bere Island where he still knows many people still there.....He also belongs to Stackstown Golf Club in Rathmines, Dublin and brought me there......this club was started by Padraig's father who was also a policeman and the membership has to be 50% policemen or retired policemen....His dad actually helped built this fine course and its where Padraig grew up and crafted his golf skills.......I was always interested in his beara roots and Riobard had written a very nice informative piece explaining the connection...His dad was quite a guy..........so with his beara roots, i'll always be a Padraig fan!
