I have been following the various comments on Harringtons (following the golf win) and thought I would post my Harrington members information again in case the names look familiar to someone else's research. With Riobard's help, and my certificates, I have the following information: My gr.gr. grandparents were - Catherine (Caskey) Harrington and Cornelius (Caobach/Keebugh) Harrington. They married in 1837 in Castletownbere, and they came to Australia in 1853 with their children. Catherine had a younger brother, Daniel, born 1820, (only record available). Their parents were - Timothy (Caskey) Harrington and Margaret (Seer) Sullivan. Apparently Catherine was a native of the townland, Disert. Cornelius' parents were - Cornelius (Caboach) Harrington and Julia Sullivan I have no more information on either family, but would love to hear from anyone who may have similar names, as there is a big gap in the church records in Castletownbere indicating that the family may have had moved elsewhere, then come back again; there are only baptisms records for the first and last of their children.
