Looking for family of Daniel from Ireland, Denis, Rose, John, Daniel, Catherine, Annie, William or Charles Crowley. Daniel Crowley B: c.1810-1820 (Ireland) Wife unknown I only know of this Daniel from the Marriage Certificate of Denis below. Denis Crowley B: c.1849 Ireland (1891 Census list birthplace as Ireland, Co. Cork) D: 13 September, 1896 (On certificate of death: died at Union Workhouse, Rye, age 50) M: 6 April, 1886 to: Married Rosetta (Rose) Hutson B: c.1865 Sussex, Eastbourne (1891 Census lists age as 27 yrs) D: unknown Denis and Rosetta's marriage certificate lists Denis' father as Daniel a labourer and Rosetta's father as Mark Hutson, gardener. Denis was age 37 and Rosetta age 21, married at the St. John the Baptist Chapel, Brighton, Sussex and living at 80 Egremont Street. On 1891 Census they were living at 69 Egremont Street. The marriage was witnessed by Denis Crowley and Norah Crowley (? relatives)- there was a Denis and Norah living at 3 Egremont Street on 1891 Census). Rosetta apparently remarried and her last name was Owens - she is on 1901 Census with all the children except the 2 eldest and also a new baby. Denis and Rosetta's Children (6 + 1 of Rosetta): 1)Rose Crowley, B: c.1882 (age 9 on 1891 Census) - apparently married a James Green (Jimmy) and they lived in Brixton, London with no children 2)John Crowley, B: c.1884 (age 7 on 1891 Census) - no other info. 3)Daniel Crowley, B: 13 March, 1886 Brighton (have birth certificate, is age 5 on 1891 Census) D: October 30, 1914, died in battle for Ypres Belgium, was Lance Corporal in Royal Sussex Regiment. He is listed as age 25 on death certificate and that he died in France or death presumed. - may possibly have married at age 22 to a Mary Balls and had a son named Franciess 4) Kate (Catharine, Catherine, Kathleen) Crowley, B: 16 November, 1889, Brighton (have birth certificate, is age 1 on 1891 Census) D: 24 June, 1980 (have death certificate) at Hove, East Sussex M: December, 1909, Steyning England to: Alfred Hollingdale, B: 2 August, 1885, D: c.1983, they lived at 18 Conway St, Hove. Other names that were mentioned by family include Grace, Jack, and a Sonny who was killed by a tram as a boy in Brighton. Any leads or suggestions of next steps would be greatly appreciated.
