Hi Lisa, Ardra is only the name of the townland. As for who living in the home place, if anyone, I wouldn't now know as I haven't been in to Bere Island in a long time. But you could write to Brendan Murphy, Rerrin, Bere Island, Beara, Co. Cork, Ireland, Brendan may have some idea.
