Hi Marge, Cappanaloha, Parish of Kilmaccomoge in the Barony of Bantry is split into two Townlands, East and West; their areas are respectively 68 and 69 Acres. The Irish is 'Ceapach na Luaithe' which in English means 'Plot of the Ashes' The name comes from a place where grass was burnt to encourage growth. Hope this may help. Best Wishes.
