Hi John... Here's what I know...my gr. grandfather married Julia at St. Finbarr's RC Church in Bantry. Her father John was a farmer in Courloum and his father a laborer in Bantry. If my gr. grandmother is a daughter of John & Mary K...I can trace descendents to today as Julia's younger sister Catherine married and had 9 children - two of them having children presently living in or near Glengarriff. As for the other John & Mary C...two of Julia's siblings (Robert & Michael) married women at St. Finbarr's and had children but only two of these offspring carry the family names. It gets very confusing - all I really have are baptismal and marriage records from St. Finbarr's. Thank you for your interest and bless you for any insights.
