    2. Hi Bill, I believe you're the administrator of the Beara list and since I've had difficulty in getting to the list I thought I'd pass this info on to you. Hope you don't mind. In Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, Mass. there's a headstone with the following inscription: Hannah wife of Maurice Lowney died January 8, 1877, aged 63 years born in Bearehaven, parish of Kilmanna Co. Cork, Ireland Since the headstone is so old the elements have done a job on it. In time the inscription will disappear. I would just like to know that, if someone is interested in Hannah, they would know where to find her or at least her final resting place. Thank you. 3. 'Tis quite possible that she was the Honora (nee Kelly) from Ballydonegan, Allihies Parish, who was married to Maurice Lowney there, but there is no further trace of them and their three children after the Famine. Her approx. year of birth would be in her time set, but the Allihies (or Kilnamanah) Parish records don't go back that far. ---- Riobard. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Bantrybreeze@aol.com> To: <beara@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, April 03, 2009 1:57 AM Subject: Re: [BEARA] (no subject) > Hi Bill, > > I believe you're the administrator of the Beara list and since I've had > difficulty in getting to the list I thought I'd pass this info on to you. > Hope > you don't mind. > > In Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, Mass. there's a headstone with the > following > inscription: > > Hannah wife of Maurice Lowney > died January 8, 1877, aged 63 years > born in Bearehaven, parish of Kilmanna > Co.
