Wasn't the BUTTE film wonderful? And the music too? I just got off the phone with JOHN T. SHEA, & congratulated him on his fine work in the documentary. He lives about 2 houses away from the Mullen House, which Grandma Nonie & PD ran. He was one of the main commentators, the gentleman with the glasses. I was thrilled to see a little of "the Lady" in the film too... It's wonderful to see her all lit up every single night on top of the East Ridge of the Rockies, just east of us. Actually there are 3 more blocks of homes, then the Hillcrest School, then another 1/2 mile east begins the ascent up the mountain. I can see The Lady from my upstairs sewing room windows, & we can also see her from our bedroom. The town has indeed been blessed since she went up in 1985. Young Marc got to work 4 days the summer before that in '84, on the 'dress' part of the Lady. He had had welding already 3 years at that time. I told Mr Shea about your writing the Beara group you were in contact with & he was pleased. Barbara
