Dear Listers,there is a danger that the Bere Island post office will be closed permanently if the powers that be get their way. There is a petition posted on the Bere Island website www.bereisland.net asking all of us to sign to prevent this from happening .If you can take a minute to do this you will have the heartfelt gratitude of the Island population who deserve better.
