I wanted to provide an update on the Tade O'Sullivan family from Adrigole townland. We recently found our Florence O'Sullivan in NSW Australia. The children of Timothy and Brighid O'Sullivan were: (1) Florence (Flor) O'Sullivan born in 1856 and immigrated to Australia probably with his brother Jeremiah around 1883. Sometime in 1892, Flor was admitted to a mental hospital where he resided until his death in 1924. (2) Jeremiah O'Sullivan born in 1858. Immigrated to Sydney Australia in about 1883. Died Aug 13, 1936 in Ben Lomond, NSW, Australia. Has descendants living in Australia. (3) Mary O'Sullivan born in 1861. Mary immigrated to the United States and was living in Granville NY in 1900. Mary died Dec 7 1929 in Granville NY. Has descendants living in the Washington DC area. (4) Margaret Sullivan born in 1864. Don't know what happened to Margaret, but she may have immigrated to the United States. She was apparently not alive in 1917 as she does not appear in my g-grandmother's obituary. (5) John "Jack" O'Sullivan born in 1867. John stayed in Adrigole and inherited the family farm. Jack died March 17, 1950 in Adrigole. Has descendants living in Adrigole and in Connecticut. (6) Michael T Sullivan born in 1870. Michael migrated to Boston, Massachusetts in about 1893. Died Oct 23, 1958 in Boston. Descendants are still in the Boston area. (7) Denis Sullivan born in 1873. Denis migrated to Boston, Massachusetts as well - but I have no information on him. (8) Catharine Sullivan born in 1878. Catharine migrated to Granville NY (to live) with Mary in 1902. Catharine died Feb 8, 1917 in Ossining, NY. Descendants are mostly in the Boston area. I have more info on Jeremiah, Flor, Mary, Jack, Michael and Catharine. Looking for info on Margaret and Dennis.
