    2. Hi Joan, Neither the US Post office or most US banks convert money into Euros... I get my brother in law in Canada to secure my Euro check. Also, I have a dual citizen (Irish/Amer) friend who still maintains an Irish checking account. It does seem so '19th century' that you have to do it this way. All the best.
