    3. In case you think I'm away sunning myself in the Bahamas, I'm still working away researching at home. The "bug" hit me again. I can't stay away from it. At present I'm working on the deaths in the Glengarriff/Bonane Parish and have one hundred and eight years of them done as yet. By the way, recently I found a bag of the "Who were my Ancestors ? Bere Island Parish" books that I had forgotten I had. The books from the Eyeries Parish, Castletownbere Parish, and Allihies Parish are all gone. But I still can research far more details than were in the books. Though I won't be doing any books on the Adrigole and Glengarriff/Bonane Parishes, I still have the researching done on those Parishes. I't would only be a matter of putting it together and connecting up the various townlands through marriages and children, etc. If you wish to write to me, my address is:- Riobard O'Dwyer (Genealogist), Eyeries Village, Beara Peninsula, Co. Cork, Ireland. But, I suppose it is alot quicker to work via the internet nowadays. Your full home address would be appreciated for any correspondence. ----- Riobard.

    3. Riobard, It is wonderful to see that you are still at it. As your friend I sincerely think that your work will keep you happy and healthy. As an O'Sullivan I recognize the enormous and unique value of your work. I am historically and genealogically petrified by the thought of you not finishing your research. We both know how close we came to losing the entire genealogical foundation of the Beara people. As with most geniuses, you may not be fully appreciated until you are long gone. But the name Riobard O'Dwyer will be forever honored by many generations to come. If you would ever consider bestowing upon me the great honor of sponsoring the publication of all of your research in one great "magnum opus" volume I would be forever indebted. I have absolutely no financial interest in the endeavor at all. My ulterior motive is very transparent: to link my name somehow with yours and claim some small place of honor in the shadow of your efforts and accomplishments. I am certain that such a volume, 'The Archives of Beara' would rise in esteem to the level of the Annals of the Four Masters for future historians of Gaelic Ireland. I know you had a bad experience with a similar project in the past. I would legally relinquish any financial claims from the outset to protect your legacy for your family's benefit. As I said, my reward would be to have my name associated forever with such an important work. We're not getting any younger. Give it a thought. I hope all is well with Joan and the rest of your clan. Maybe you can visit us at the castle this summer. We are presently having furniture made in Indonesia with the various O'Sullivan insignias carved into the design (the battle flag, the stag shield, the robin and the crown, the Blackthorn rose, Celtic knot work, etc.) The final products should be arriving this summer. The entire project will take many years to complete but eventually we should have an appropriate international home for the clan that I have come to honor and respect so much.
