    1. [BEARA] research in Dublin

    3. I'm going to Ireland later this year and planning stay extra time in Dublin to do research. (wish I could go down to the Beara Peninsula where my ancestors are from but logistically and time wise can't make it). Anyway was planning to go to the National Library of Ireland and the National Archives of Ireland to do research.  Great the Catholic registers are online - plus have been using the Irish Genealogy site too for lots of info. I will look up as much as I can before I leave too. Which place have you found to be the most helpful in your research.  I've been searching their sites to see what records they and researching their sites but any tips and info you can provide will be helpful.   I'm hoping to search some death records of ancestors too. My ancestors from the Beara Peninsula are Denis Sheehan and his wife Mary Downing, his son Denis Sheehan married Ellen Spring and they had my great grandmother - Georgina Sheehan.  Thanks.
