    3. The one problem with this is that, although the records have been digitized, they are not indexed, so it will be some time before they are easy to follow. I expect there will be a call for volunteers to help index them. As of now, once you find the correct parish, it is much like scanning a microfilm to try to find the record you are looking for. They are in the order they were entered into the ledgers, which is neither alphabetic, nor necessarily by date. Just keep that in mind as you search.     3. I have no issue with scanning them, missing records always show up that way. I've pretty much explored the indexed records already. Just need to be able to read them. I'll try looking for the toolbar a little later today.
