    3. I simply add my wishes for a great 2016 for all. And, thank you Riobard for the greeting "as gaeilge." For Victoria Harrison, you might want to consider stopping off in Boston or New York as part of the trip. Both towns are wonderful and will break up a rather long journey for you. I would fly into Shannon and head south from there, stopping along the way in Killarney and/or Dingle. You may wish to see what music festivals are scheduled for your preferred times. -----Original Message----- From: beara-request@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, December 31, 2015 1:01 PM To: beara@rootsweb.com Subject: BEARA Digest, Vol 10, Issue 124 Today's Topics: 1. Especially to Riobard O?Dwyer for the connections to family history on Bere Island. My husband and I plan to visit Bere Island, Cork, and Dublin in April. This will be our first trip to Ireland and I hope to ?walk the ground? my Brady ancestor talked and wrote about. We fly from Houston. It would be such a help if anyone on the group could assist in our plans. Which airlines do you like for the flight from US to Dublin? Is it better to fly into Cork? Does anyone know about an Inn and Cooking School on Bere Island? There was an article in the WSJ but I cannot relocate that. Are there places you recommend we contact for lodging on Bere? in Cork? in Dublin? and last?. Which resources do you recommend for me to visit for family research? Riobard, it was a disappointment but a big help to learn that there are no records for James T. Brady?s birth on Bere Island. I have not learned anything from internet sources that lead my any closer to his Irish history. But I know it will do my head and heart good to be on the ground in Ireland. Thanks go any and all who have the time to email ideas about visiting Bere Island in 2016!
