Can anyone give a typical movement and possible points of registration( if there were any ) from Ireland to - say - Liverpool? Was there any registration done anywhere along the route entering England and before boarding a ship to America? Or were England/Ireland considered free to travel between the two countries? Did they have to apply to leave Ireland etc? Thanks, Robert Harrington
