    3. Seeking information about the Daniel Casey family from Beare Island, Castletownbeare, Cork County, Ireland. Daniel was born about 1790 and married Ellen Carroll (or possibly Cronin) born about 1785 in Ireland. They had at least five children, all born in Ireland: John b: 1810; Margaret “Mary” Clarissa b: Jul 1813; Patrick b: 1820; Johanna b: 1822; and Dennis b: Oct 1824. All came to the US in 1833. They may have come as a group with Patrick Harrington, b: 1812 Eyerie, Beara, Cork Cty., and Daniel O’Neil b: 1802 (father is John O’Neil). They show up in Bangor, Maine in the mid-1830’s where Patrick marries “Mary” Casey and Daniel O’Neil married Johanna Casey. They all end up owning land and settling in nearby Carmel, Maine. Also in this group may have been Owen Dunn, Daniel Quimby, and Patrick Murphy. --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus

    3. I am seeking any information about the family in Ireland. Dates are from US Census' in 1850, 1860 and 1870. Vital records for Maine until 1892 did not include much info. The gravestone for daughter Mary Clarissa in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Bangor, Maine shows her birth place (picture on Findagrave) as well as her husband Patrick Harrington.
