    3. I had Sullivans and Crowleys in Fall River as early as the 1830s. They originated in Cluin (Allihies) and Dursey Island. If not for Riobard's research (Who Were My Ancestors) I would never have known that. Both families were in Wisconsin by the early 1840s. Lucy

I believe my Hanleys (John and Mary) came to FR about 1870 but I am not sure. They are from Killaugh Townland .John's parents were John and Honora and Mary's were William Fleming and Johanna Kelly. Hi Jane and I hope you are having a fine St. Patrick's evening.    I do have details on the Beara portion of my family tree on Ancestry.com rather thoroughly entered, so sharing it with you will be a good way for you to study and assess any possible connection.  Are you familiar with studying trees on Ancestry, or I should say, using the Family Tree Maker format, which Ancestry uses and I think, owns? Does anyone have thoughts as to where Beara people in thi searly 1850's era first in Mass. may have lived if they then moved to R.I.?  Looking at a map,  Fall River looks like a great candidate as Providence and Newport are not far from FR.  Another angle to this is to ask,  was there a particular city/region where most Beara folk settled ca 1850?  I'll appreciate any thoughts you may have. 3. Thanks Riobard...and Happy St. Patrick's Day to you and Joan and all who visit the Beara List ( in honor of St Patrick's Day I played your CD and listened to you play the accordion and remembered the days we got to visit the Beara and listen to the music live...Thanks for the memories!) I would play the accordion, and the people of Beara ancestry all over the world would join in the celebration. ---- Riobard . * * ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
