Beal Family, My line of Bealls starts back with Mary Jane Beall who married George Washington Castleberry and came to Northern Arkansas and Southern Missouri. They had three children and Mr. Castleberry died in 1857. The man who took charge of the estate married Mary Jane Beall. His name was Napoleon Boneparte Rose, he was my GrGr Grandfather. They had five children, my Gr Grandfather's name was Berry Rose and lived long enough to have three children before scarlet fever killed him when he was 25. One of those children was my grandfather. Mary Jane Beall was born 18 Nov. 1830 in Giles County Tennessee, her father's name was Micajah Beall. He was killed in an accident while helping build a log cabin before she was born. She lived until 1916 and I have seen a couple of pictures of her. I don't know how she spelled her name because she could not read and write. She is buried very near the Missouri state line just over in the center of Arkansas in Randolph County. Micajah Beall was born in Chatham NC in 1797 and died in 1830. His wife was Honor Melinda Leonard b. 18 Jan. 1801 d.? Their children were: Mary Jane Beall b. 1830 Nancy Beall b. 1820 Alfred Joshua b. 21 Nov. 1821 Sousan Elizabeth Beall b. 29 Nov. 1826 Malinda J. Beall b. 7 Oct. 1829 Micajah or Kajar Beall's Father and Mother were: Benjamin Bradley Beall b.c. 1763 and his mother was Nancy Taylor b. c. 1775. Their children were: Micajah Beall b.c.1797 Major Beall b. c. 1784 Presley Beall b.c.1789 Sallie Beall b.c.1791 Nellie Beall b.c. 1793 Lillie Beall b.c. 1802 James Beall b.c. 1801 Benjamin Beall b.c.1807 As far as I know some of these Beall's moved to Texas from Tennesse and the Carolinas. I have a little bit about Joshua and his family but not much. I found the name Benjamin Bradley Beall in a couple of places. Elizabeth Fendall his father was James Beall b. 5 Feb. 1652 m. Sarah Pearce his father was Alexander Bell b. c. 1621 m. Margaret Ramsey b.c. 1625.
