Kathy, if the William Beall you're looking for moved to Georgia, I have the information you need in the data base of Maryland Beall before1800 information that I keep. Send a 3.5" floppy and self-addressed stamped envelope to me at 11892 Blue February Way, Columbia, MD 21044; I'll load it up, and you'll have your line back to the immigrant Alexander. The database take up just about a full 1.4 meg floppy and is in Wordperfect 5.1 for DOS, therefore will come up in any windows based word processor. I haven't had a chance to make many changes to the database recently so those who already have it won't find an update particularly valuable, however I'm glad to copy it for anyone else who would like it as well.
