Just a few thoughts on Thomas 1. Have you looked at Ohio land records. I have found wonderful information there. Some read like wills. Have you checked out that Sunderland name? It might be Thomas 1's mother's name. John might be Thomas' father's name. Just things I would check out. You said once more. Hope you aren't giving up.
